I have a simple soup recipe that I throw together whenever I'm needing comfort, or some southwestern flavors. I will use shredded cooked chicken, a carton of low sodium chicken broth, peeled and diced broccoli stems, usually a can of Rotel chilies and tomatos drained, and a tablespoon each of chili powder and cumin. Salt and pepper to taste and simmer until the broccoli softens some. I'll serve Online University Soup Diet with shredded chees and some chopped cilantro on top and maybe some sliced avocado, but I don't think the avocado is an induction friendly food, but in small amounts it's never affected my weight loss.

Creamy Squash Soup
2 Summer Squash cut into small pieces
2 cups of low sodium stock (beef, chicken or veggie)
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup heavy cream.
Cook the squash in the stock until tender enough to mash with a fork. Ladle into a blender or use a stick blender and purée. Add cream, salt and pepper and blend again. Serve plain, with a drizzle of sour cream or pesto (or both) Very nummy with a salad. Add protein to the salad. Or do the same with cauliflower, mix in some cooked sausage after blending and drizzle with olive oil. It's like mock potato soup.
